Rainbow Reflector Holiday 1999

From Tige and Vicky Reinhold

By Vicky Reinhold

ARE YOU READY?

It used to be a favorite phrase,

‘Hello, how are you today?’

Not anymore, instead you hear

‘Are you ready for Y2K?’

It’s getting closer I must agree

My lifestyle really hasn’t changed,

I’ve not fretted nor even worried that much,

I don’t think things will get too re-arranged.

Time marches on, it doesn’t stand still,

The Bible says Jesus is coming again;

We don’t know the day or the hour

For He hasn’t told us just when.

So my concern for you, my friend,

Be the clock twelve, four or seven,

My question to each and every one,

ARE YOU READY FOR HEAVEN?

It’s been a good year at our home. We both keep busy, Tige still enjoys his cows and horses, and I manage to keep busy with my tasks at RBR. Also, my five grandchildren enjoy Grandma’s treats that I bake. Come April we look forward to another little grandchild, so that will be fun — don’t know if Larry has announced it on the national news!

I always knew my hubby was a sweetie. The honey bees thought the same in July! While working a hive he got numerous stings and made his first ambulance ride to the hospital! He has a way of keeping things exciting around the ol’ ranch.

1999 has been a milestone for both of us....Tige hit the big 70 and I go on medicare the first of December. They tell me that’s one of the benefits along the way. We can’t find the concept of “quitting” in the Bible, so we hope to keep pressing on.

We wish you a blessed Christmas.

With All of Our Love,

Tige and Vicky (Grandpa and Grandma)
