Rainbow Reflector
Holiday 1999 Greetings From the Morris FamilyWe want to wish you all a Joyous Christmas Season and a wonderful New Year. It seems that this year has passed so quickly and our lives are changing so rapidly. Jason just turned 14 in August, Jana will be 13 in December (wow, two teenagers!!!) and Joel just turned 11 in September. At the end of September we celebrated 15 years of marriage. We continue to home school. The kids all take music lessons where Jason is learning to play the guitar, Jana the piano and Joel the violin. It is a joy to hear them learning to play an instrument and know that they will be able to enjoy it for a lifetime.
We thought we’d share with you one of our favorite Christmas cookie recipes in our house. We hope you and your family enjoy them as much as we all do.

Stir in flour until blended well. Chill dough for 30 minutes. On lightly floured surface, roll out dough 1/8 inch thickness. Cut into desired shapes with lightly floured cookie cutters. Place 1 inch apart on cookie sheets. Sprinkle with colored sugar, or if you like frost them after they are baked. Bake for 7 to 9 minutes. Cool completely. Frost and decorate, if desired.
