Master of Everything

by Lee Reinhold c1979

I see His beauty in the sunrise,

In the dawning of the day.

I see His beauty in the night time

As little stars twinkle in the sky.

I hear His voice whisper in the tree tops

And in cool waters rushing by.

I hear His voice in the waves of an ocean

Whisper softly, I will listen, here am I.

I feel His love in the touch of a raindrop,

Through the warmth of a mid-summer breeze;

In the coolness of a snowflake

Let the sun shine, and the cool rivers flow.

I see His creation in the beauty of a flower

Big puffy clouds all dressed in silver lines;

Valleys green, mountains reaching to the heavens,

O what beauty He’s given me to behold.

I see His promise in the colors of a rainbow,

In the promise that He would rise again;

Now I’m waiting for Him to come again

And take me to my home in the sky.

Then I’ll behold the Master of Everything

I’ll see His love in His nail-scarred hands.

Then I will hear his voice as He gently says,

“Well done; you’re home for evermore.”
