I might be the smallest
Member of this crew,
But still I have some things
I’d like to share with you.

                I’m only six months old now,
                But what a life I’ve had!
                My first summer was a whirlwind,
                Especially for my Dad!

                        I saw so many faces —
                        So many girls and boys,
                        And when they came to Jesus,
                        My mom shed tears of joy.

                                My sisters keep me hopping
                                They love to watch me wiggle;
                                They can always make me happy,
                                And I love to make them giggle!

                                            The other night while we were rocking,
                                            My mom was telling me
                                            About the Baby Jesus
                                            Who came to earth for me.

                                                        Jesus didn’t have
                                                       All the special things I do;
                                                        I wish I could’ve shared my toys
                                                        And fuzzy blankets, too.

                                                                And now I am growing tired
                                                                Soon Mom will tuck me into sleep
                                                                Dad tells me I can rest peacefully
                                                                As Jesus’ faithful watch will keep.
