Rainbow Reflector
Holiday 2000Greetings From the Morris Family
Dear Family and Friends,
Happy Holidays to each one of you from the Morris family! We have had another good year, Jason turned 15 in August, Jana will be 14 in December and Joel turned 12 in September. All three of them had a part in working at Rainbow this past summer. Jason was a one of the wranglers. Jana helped out some in the kitchen, also with basic horsemanship on Monday nights and wherever else she was needed. Joel helped with mowing the grass and also helped the wranglers with getting the campers on their horses. Chris and Lana worked together in the kitchen (Praise the Lord, a new kitchen is on the way, no more hard cement floors that can take a toll on one’s body). Chris also had the privilege of sharing with the campers throughout each week.
It seems to us like time goes faster with each year. This past year as a family we remember that our topic of conversation would be about how time has passed so quickly. Our kids even think that time flies by too fast. Eternity will be so great when we will have NO more eyes on the clock, NO more good-byes, NO more “hope to see you again soon”, NO more “perhaps next year”. We don’t know about you, but that sounds wonderful to us.
We are so thankful to our Lord for all He has blessed us with. We (Chris and Lana) are so thankful for the gift of each other. It is so fun to see our love grow stronger in Him each and every day. We are thankful for the gift of our children to whom we can share our love with and watch them grow in His love. We are thankful that he takes care of us as a family and meets our every need. Most of all we want to give our thanks unto God for His indescribable gift that He has given to us ( II Corinthians 9:15). Many years ago He gave us His precious Son Jesus, who was born into this sinful world. He then grew up to be a man who died for the sins of everyone in the world. We pray that you have given Him your life and if not that this Christmas season you will give Him the gift of yourself. Just think, then we will live with Jesus eternally, forever, where we will never run out of time.
May you and all of your families have the most memorable Christmas ever as we celebrate Christ’s birth.
