Rainbow Reflector Holiday 2001

Greetings From the Morris Family

Here we are, another year is almost gone. We are now a family who have all teenagers. Jason’s 16, Jana’s 14 (almost 15) and Joel turned 13 in September. Wow, the years sure have flown! That means that within five years our home might be pretty empty. We will be facing many big changes before long. We are not sure if we will be ready for these changes, but are any parents?

We as a family are realizing more all the time how this world is not our home. Our country has changed so much since the terrorist attacks on September 11. We have heard so much about that day and days that have followed. Many lives were taken and many homes have been changed forever. Our hearts go out to the families of those who have suffered loss. In October, I preached a sermon and the title was “911”, We have an emergency! I expressed the importance of sharing Christ with those that don’t know Him and the relationship that we need to have with Him. Life can change in a moment! I have asked many this question and I ask it again, “Where will you spend eternity?” For those of us that know Jesus, the best is yet to come!!! There is a song by Scott Krippayne entitled “THE BEST IS YET TO COME” , the words to the chorus say, “The best is yet to come, The promise of heaven awaits, I’ll finally see my Lord and Savior face to face, For He has set me free for all eternity, When my life on earth is done, The best is yet to come”! The offer of eternal life with Jesus Christ is available to all who will receive His gift of salvation. Eternity is on the line, what will you do with the Lord Jesus Christ?

We want to wish all of you a Joyous and Blessed Christmas Season!

Love from the Morris’
