Winter 2002MY SPECIAL VALENTINE

Stored away in a box of my treasures
That are now yellowed with years,
Are some valentines from my childhood,
Some bring laughter, some bring tears.
There is one from a boy in grade school,
Covered with glitter and a mushy rhyme,
By the time he paid for that card
He probably was broke, but for a dime!
There were home-made cards from our children,
Oh, I read them through and through.
These brought tears into my eyes
As
I
Not all valentines are bought in the store
Or made with red paper and glue,
For you see, my special valentine
Is the one to whom I said, "I do."
On Valentines Day it will be forty-six years
Since Tige said, "Now you are mine,"
Thank you Jesus, for that wonderful gift,
MY SPECIAL VALENTINE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Happy 46th Anniversary Tige,
I love you more than yesterday, and less than tomorrow!!!
