Legacy III
Legacy III is our Bible Study group that meets each Wednesday in Rapid City. We enjoy the company and sincere study with 20 to 30 fine young people. We studied from John chapter 2 in the Bible this evening.
Legacy III has several goals...Sincere study of God's Word, Fellowship that will enhance one's spiritual growth and enabling members to teach others... a number of them have been or will be part of the staff at Rainbow Bible Ranch. Robin and I enjoy leading this group of young people and we count it a blessing to be a part of Legacy III.

MEN'S DAY 2018
A long time friend, Harry Merchen, shared a moving and challenging word of testimony. A true man of God... a story teller... a jokester.... a rancher.... and always friend. Men's Day 2018
The Rainbow Bible Ranch wrangling crew had over 25 riders go out on Saturday afternoon during the Fifth Annual Men's Day. They rode up through the breaks to the peak. The report back to me from the wranglers was that the riders were great to ride with and it was very enjoyable. I heard that from the riders too
A lot of friendly competition took place at Men's Day. Rifles were sighted in... Pheasant season is only weeks away.... and the archery hunters realize practice makes perfect. Hats off to Derek Anderson as he won the shotgun for bringing down the most clay pigeons.
Matt Lopez shared a testimony of what God has done in his life and Andy Coyle shared a couple of good sessions. Last Saturday of September... put Men's Day on your calendar for next year.
Homemade bread, home grown potatoes, over 60 pounds of top sirloin grilled to perfection made for many satisfied participants at the Men's day at Rainbow Bible Ranch. Tom Grimes was one of over 120 that we served for supper.
Good Food as well… Always a blessing.

KEYS FOR CAMPS
Look what arrived in the mail yesterday. Rainbow Bible Ranch in partnership with Keys for Kids Ministries have mailed to many of the kids that came to camp these great story and Bible lessons. It is alarming to see how few families take time to spend as a family and be encouraged from God's Word. As you start your day, ask "What am i spending my time on?"

FAMILY
You know you get to work with the best team and have the best friends in the world when you get done with 10 weeks of camp and on the last night clean until 2:30 in the morning and still be laughing and entertaining each other! And after the last bunk is wiped clean for the last time this year and the corners are all swept, the last dish is washed for the night...still spend a couple hours just talking and being together and drinking lots of strong coffee.
Because “Family” is meant to be a team.
It was so hard today saying “see you later” and watching you all drive off one by one. It made my heart hurt and swell with thankfulness all at the same time. I will miss you and look forward to the day we will all be together again! Teasing each other, laughing “with” each other and working each day for a Higher calling!
Thank You, God for Your faithfulness and Thank You...for My Family.

TAKING THE REMUDA TO WINTER PASTURE
After the guests leave RBR on the last Friday evening of the season... the wranglers take the camp string of horses out to pasture to give them a much needed break. Kiersten told me earlier in the day, that she was going to help take the herd out and she was all smiles. As you look at the photo, you can understand why Robin and I are smiling as well. "The Reinhold Kids" was the crew this year. Kiersten, Julia, Caleb, Danny, Molly and Rachel did much of the wrangling chores this year. Working with over 50 head of horses and having hundreds of campers of all skill levels from beginner to advanced is a challenge. I can graciously say that they did a great job. Thank you.
