Lightning on the south edge of a thunderstorm that went along Alkali Creek today started this fire a little over a mile and half from the Peak Castello Point. Our crew went through the breaks to do our part on bringing the fire under control. Even though one never wants a fire, I am always blessed by all the neighbors and crews that just jump into action to do their part.
